The MRPA will be holding their Executive Board elections at our next scheduled meeting on 9/10/24 @ 8pm via Zoom. If you are interested in nominating yourself or someone else for one of the board positions please email me at slang@mrpa.org no later than 8/10/24 (30 days notice before the election is required).
In addition, once our board is elected we will also be looking to start the following Committees:
- Legislative – will monitor and evaluate pending legislative, regulatory, and legal action at the federal, state, and local levels that may have an impact on our resource Parents.
- Fundraising/Grants – will assist the ED in obtaining grants and fundraising ideas.
- Marketing – will assist the ED in promotional items, advertisements, events, social media etc.
If one of these committees are something you are passionate about then please consider joining the MRPA.
*NOTE- You do not have to hold a position to attend our Bi-Monthly meetings, all foster/kinship/guardianship/adoptive parents are welcome! The president of each local association is automatically a voting board member.
